Los tenistas chilenos Francisco Cayulef y Diego Pérez hicieron historia este sábado al consagrarse campeones mundiales de Quad Tenis en el evento realizado durante esta semana en Turquía.

A primera hora, Cayulef (10° de la ITF) le dio el primer punto al elenco nacional al vencer por 6-2 y 6-0 al local Ugur Altinel (16°).

Luego, Pérez (9°) se inclinó por un doble 6-1 ante Ahmet Kaplan (16°), lo que obligó a definir todo en el partido de duplas.

Ahí los campeones parapanamericanos se impusieron por 6-4 y 6-3 para alzarse con el trofeo máximo.
