Durante una entrevista este martes, Kevin Feige, presidente de Marvel Studios, habló sobre la fase 5 del MCU (Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel), confirmando que una cuarta película de "Spider-man", con Tom Holland en el papel protagónico, ya está en marcha. 

"Mencionaste al "Peter Parker" de Tom Holland (...) ¿Tienen alguna actualizacion sobre cuándo podremos volver a ver a "Peter Parker"?, consultó Entertainment Weekly a Feige durante la conversación, a lo que respondió: "Todo lo que diré es que tenemos la historia. Tenemos grandes ideas para eso, y nuestros escritores sólo están poniendo la pluma en el papel por ahora", no entregando más detalles al respecto. 

"Spider-man: No Way Home", la más reciente cinta de la saga que contó con Tobey Maguire y Andrew Garfield, quienes interpretaron al superhéroe arácnido en filmes anteriores, se posicinó como la séptima película más taquillera de la historia del cine, con una recaudación mundial de $1920 millones tras su estreno en diciembre de 2021.
