Tras estrenar una tercera película en 2020, Sony Pictures ha confirmado el regreso de "Bad Boys", la cinta de policías protagonizada por Will Smith y Martin Lawrence. 

La cuarta entrega de la franquicia fue confirmada por Smith a través de su cuenta de Instagram, donde el ganador del Oscar por "King Richard" se encontró con Lawrence para anunciar la película.

La cinta, que se encuentra en pre producción, será dirigida por Adil El Arbi y Bilall Fallah, quienes estuvieron a cargo de "Bad Boys for Life" (2020), tercera película de la saga, según informó The Hollywod Reporter. 

"Bad Boys", estrenada originalmente en 1995, sigue a los amigos "Mike" (Smith) y "Marcus" (Lawrence), dos policías de Miami, de la División de Narcóticos, que intentan controlar sus personalidades para mantener el profesionalismo en su trabajo.
