La cantante Mon Laferte recibió esta semana la nacionalidad mexicana por parte del Gobierno de México.

En una ceremonia encabezada por el Secretario de Relaciones Exteriores de México, Marcelo Ebrard, la artista oriunda de Viña del Mar fue parte de las más de 100 personalidades que fueron naturalizadas mexicanas.

"Mon cantó nuestro himno y la abrazamos como mexicana muy bienvenida y querida", dijo Ebrard en Twitter con una imagen de la cantante de "Tu falta de querer".

"Muchas gracias Marcelo Ebrard, felicidades a todos los nuevos mexicanxs ¡Viva México!", expresó Mon Laferte ante la fotografía.
