En el último programa de LaJunta, Julio César Rodríguez se sinceró respecto a un tema que incluso Don Francisco le ha preguntaso: por qué no participa en la Teletón.

En conversación con el periodista urbano Diego González, el conductor contó el verdadero motivo por el nunca ha sido conductor en la Teletón, al contrario de otras personalidades de la televisión chilena.

"¿Sabes por qué no fui? Todavía creo que para que un niño se levante y camine, no debe depender de una donación, una mayonesa, de un pollo. Me mantengo firme ahí, ¿o no?", dijo.
