El actor Leonardo DiCaprio y el director Martin Scorsese no se cansan de trabajar juntos. Tras su épica aventura de la nominada al Oscar "Killers of the flower moon", la dupla se prepara para tomar un nuevo proyecto en conjunto.

Según adelanta Variety el cineasta se encuentra en conversaciones para realizar una película biográfica del cantante Frank Sinatra con DiCaprio interpretando al legendario crooner.

Además el proyecto incluye a Jennifer Lawrence en el papel de la actriz Ava Gardner, la segunda esposa de Sinatra.

Actualmente Scorsese se encuentra negociando los derechos de la historia con Tina Sinatra, hija del cantante. Además la potencial película está buscando casa productora con Sony y Apple como primeras opciones.

Sumada a esta película sobre Frank Sinatra, Martin Scorsese tiene en el horizonte una nueva película sobre Jesús basada en la novela "Life of Jesus" de Shūsaku Endō, autor japonés del cual ya adaptó su novela "Silencio".
