El Gobierno francés anunció este miércoles una movilización "excepcional" de policías y bomberos para prevenir y combatir posibles desórdenes callejeros durante el próximo puente festivo del 14 de julio, en que se celebra la Fiesta Nacional gala.

El dispositivo de seguridad movilizará a un total de 130.000 policías y gendarmes, 45.000 en cada una de las noches del jueves, viernes y sábado próximos.

Además, se movilizará a decenas de miles de bomberos, anunció en rueda de prensa el ministro del Interior, Gérald Darmanin, quien justificó el despliegue en el intento de evitar un resurgimiento de la "extrema violencia" de la semana de disturbios que vivió el país durante una semana a partir del 27 de junio.
