La lluvia que comenzó a caer en Santiago en horas de la noche mitigó los incidentes esperados para la previa del 11 de septiembre, aunque hubo enfrentamientos aislados.

Según información policial, las precipitaciones apagaron algunas barricadas encendidas durante la noche, particularmente en las comunas de Lo Prado, Macul y San Bernardo.

En esos mismos sectores, personal de Control de Orden Público de Carabineros se enfrentó con encapuchados que les lanzaron objetos contundentes e incluso artefactos incendiarios.
