El actual presidente del Partido Comunista, Guillermo Teillier, anunció que fue dado de alta después de pasar 10 días internado en la UTI del Hospital Clínico de la Universidad de Chile.

En un escueto comunicado, el exdiputado agradeció los buenos deseos recibidos y afirmó que "ahora viene un proceso de recuperación y espero estar pronto como siempre en mis labores político partidarias".

Teillier, cuya enfermedad se desconoce, fue uno de los grandes ausentes en la firma de este lunes del acuerdo por el nuevo proceso constituyente. En su lugar, representando al Partido Comunista, firmó el secretario general Lautaro Carmona.
