Dos incendios forestales mantienen con alerta roja a la comuna de Valparaíso, totalizando poco menos de tres hectáreas entre ambos.

Según información de la Onemi, se trata del incendio Deslinde Reserva Nacional Lago Peñuelas que se registra al interior de la reserva y del fundo Las Cenizas, donde 0,5 hectáreas han sido consumidas.

En cuanto al segundo incendio, mediante el cual se originó la alerta roja la tarde del miércoles, se denomina La Ventolera y afecta a una superficie estimada de 2,17 hectáreas, amenazando a la ruta 68, considerada infraestructura crítica.
