Llega el verano y los termómetros se mantienen marcando altas temperaturas. Este miércoles 21 de diciembre empieza oficialmente la nueva estación del año, pero ¿desde qué hora?

Este 2022, la temporada de verano comienza desde las 18:48 horas (UTC-3), según informa el Servicio Hidrográfico y Oceanográfico de la Armada de Chile (Shoa).

La fecha exacta del inicio de la estación estival coincide con el solsiticio de verano, un fenómeno astronómico en que el Sol alcanza la mayor altitud en el hemisferio sur.

En el hemisferio norte ocurrirá lo contrario, pues se despedirán del otoño para dar la bienvenida al invierno.
