El popular videojuego "The Legend of Zelda" de Nintendo tendrá una película live action a cargo de la compañía japones y Sony Pictures.

Luego de la exitosa adaptación de Super Mario Bros. Movie, Nintendo se entusiasmó con una cinta basada en el videojuego lanzado por primera vez en 1986.

Wes Ball, el director detrás de la trilogía "Maze Runner", dirigirá la película, con Sony como distribuidora y con Nintendo en el presupuesto.

Shigeru Miyamoto, director representativo de Nintendo, y Avi Arad serán los productores ejecutivos del proyecto cinematográfico.
