Con las medidas cautelares de firma mensual y arraigo nacional quedó el infante de marina imputado por la muerte de un joven que fue atropellado tras una serie de saqueos este lunes en la comuna de Talcahuano, en la Región del Biobío.

Leonardo Medina conducía el vehículo militar que causó la muerte de Alejandro Rebolledo, de 23 años, quien participó en los saqueos a Frigoríficos del Pacífico.

Rebolledo es una de las 15 víctimas fatales que ha dejado hasta el momento la serie de protestas derivadas de un estallido social iniciado por las alzas en los precios del Metro y que se han extendido por todo el país.

La investigación se extenderá por cuatro meses, según se confirmó en la audiencia de control de detención realizada en el Juzgado de Garantía de Talcahuano.
